Radiesse

Dallas Radiesse Specialists -- Genecov Plastic Surgery Group

Administering Radiesse to Patients in Dallas, Richardson and Carrollton, TX

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is an injectable treatment that helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our patients in Dallas, Richardson and Carrollton often use Radiesse injections to reduce the signs of aging, as well as sculpt the face slightly, or treat scars.

Radiesse is thicker than Botox, so it is used in deep tissues-- to fill out cheekbones, for example--in combination with other products to decrease wrinkles or fill in scars. It is injected deeper into the skin, so you may experience more discomfort. Because of this, a local anesthetic is generally used when injecting Radiesse. We use it mostly for facial augmentation of the mid face, on top of the bone, and it is not palpable (you won't feel it).

If you live in Dallas, Richardson, Carrollton or elsewhere in northern Texas and you'd like to learn more about average Radiesse prices, or you want to see some Radiesse before and after photos, call us today to set up a personal consultation.

How is Radiesse Administered?

The treatment will generally take around 15 minutes to half an hour, but may take up to an hour if you are receiving a combination treatment. The therapy is injected through a tiny needle at the site of the wrinkle, and results appear immediately.

Most injections do not require any anesthetic. A topical numbing cream can be applied for those worried about discomfort. If Radiesse is being injected to fill out cheekbones, a local anesthetic, like that used by dentists, will be administered.

In our practice, Radiesse injections are always performed under a physician's guidance, and most times by the physician himself. We feel It's important to consult the physician prior to undergoing any treatment so that the best available treatment for you is determined.

Am I a Good Candidate for Radiesse?

As an injectable treatment, Radiesse can be used on almost any patient. But most of the patients we treat in Dallas, Richardson and Carrollton tend to be between the ages of 35 and 60. If you're unhappy with any of the following, you may be a good candidate for Radiesse:
>Smile lines
>Marionette lines (those running downward from the corner of your mouth)
>Scarring
>Skin depressions

What Kind of Post-Operative Radiesse Care Can I Expect?

Following the Radiesse treatment, you may experience slight swelling around the injection site. This should subside within 24 to 36 hours. And a cold compress will help reduce swelling and any discomfort. Aside from that, patients are able to resume normal activities right away. However, your doctor may advise you to stay out of the sun.

What are the Typical Results of Radiesse?

Radiesse is the most long-lasting of the injections used. It is generally repeated every 18 months, much less often than Botox. Though It's slightly more uncomfortable than some other options, many patients are attracted to the fact that You'll need fewer follow-up injections overall. In addition, most of our patients can see up to an 80 percent improvement immediately following the procedure. We recommend viewing Radiesse before and after photos before electing to have this treatment.

What are Dallas Radiesse Costs?

Radiesse prices fall within a wide range, as each patient is different. Some may only want to treat one area of the face, while others require treatment in several areas. During your initial consultation, one of our highly skilled surgeons will assess your specific needs and discuss costs from there. Call today to set up your appointment and find out how Radiesse can benefit you.
